Guangdong and Peru jointly Expand Global Trade: Peruvian Diplomat

“The cooperation between Guangdong and Peru has maintained sound momentum.”said Ruben Espinoza, the Consul General of Peru in Guangzhou, was invited to observe the opening meeting of the Fifth Session of the 14th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress on January 26.
In an interview with 21st Century Business Herald, Espinoza noted that during his four-year tenure in Guangzhou, he has advanced a number of collaborative projects, mainly in the cultural and trade sectors.
Espinoza also touched upon the profound ties between China and Peru, "Peru is among the earliest Latin American countries to embrace Chinese immigrants. Early Chinese immigrants made significant contributions to the economic development of our country, and even laid the groundwork for our stable economic foundation today."
Espinoza further emphasized that Peru has always been an active participant in global trade and has established partnerships with numerous countries across the world, with Guangdong being one of its key trade partners, "Now we are actively advancing APEC cooperation processes, hoping to facilitate better communication with potential investors in South China."
